Important Information

for All Existing Choice or Innovative Wireless Customers

Viya is inviting all of our valued customers originally signed up on the Choice and Innovative Wireless networks to upgrade NOW to the faster, more reliable new 4G LTE Network FREE of charge. Over the past year Viya has invested millions of dollars into state-of-the-art technology to bring you the BEST coverage in the Virgin Islands. We have delayed launch of this network due to the recent catastrophic hurricanes but are now able to bring it to you in St. Thomas, St. Croix and to St. John in mid-December.

This process IS mandatory as we will need to close out the old network by December 31, 2017 but we know that you will enjoy the faster data speeds, less dropped calls, better in-home signal and other great benefits.

ST. THOMAS & ST. CROIX

Any customer currently signed up for any Pay-As-You-Go or contracted Post-Paid plan originally under the name Innovative Wireless or InTing Wireless: you will need a new SIM chip for your current device in order to activate the 4G LTE. We have attempted to contact you several times but may have been unable to reach you. As of December 31, 2017 the SIM card in your phone will no longer provide service.

The process is simple and FREE. Please come into a Viya Customer Experience Center as soon as possible and a Viya Migration Specialist will assist in swapping out the SIM in your device. Your phone number will not change and your plan & bill will remain the same or better. Please see the FAQs below for questions regarding these changes.

ST. THOMAS

Any customer currently signed up for any plan originally under the name Choice Wireless: We have a brand new, 4G compatible FREE device waiting for you at a Viya Customer Experience Center near you.

Please stop in as soon as possible and a Viya Migration Specialist will assist in swapping out your device. The process should take under thirthy minutes to complete. Your phone number will not change and your plan & bill will remain the same or better.

Any customer currently signed up for any plan originally under the name Choice Wireless: We will have a brand new, 4G compatible FREE device waiting for you at the Viya Customer Experience Center in Estate Diamond beginning December 4th. We will be sending you a series of SMS messages to notify you of the best dates for you to come in to make the upgrade in order to avoid a line.

A Viya Migration Specialist will assist in swapping out your device. The process should take under thirty minutes to complete. Your phone number will not change and your plan & bill will remain the same or better.

Can I Keep My Phone Number?

Yes, Viya will port your current mobile number which takes place almost immediately so you won’t miss any calls or texts.

How Long Will This Process Take?

The migration process will vary slightly per customer but we have a dedicated, well-trained Migration Team in place who will handle the process for you quickly and efficiently.  you will not nee to wait in the standard customer line. We estimate under 30 minutes for a phone migration and under 20 minutes to change a SIM card.

Do I Have to Upgrade?

Viya has invested millions of dollars in bringing the Virgin Islands a brand new state-of-the-art 4G LTE Network to replace the old Innovative and Choice networks which are now out of date. We will need to close down the two old networks so the 4G LTE upgrade is mandatory if you would like to retain service with us after December 31, 2017. We are confident this upgrade will bring you a noticeably better user experience with more coverage, faster data speeds, better in-home connection, less dropped calls and more.

Will My Plan Change?

Viya has taken time in care to develop new plans for our customers on the new LTE Network that are equivalent or better than the plan you are already on so besides the improvements in quality the change will feel seamless. Your monthly data allotment will not be hindered. You will also have the option of upgrading to one of our brand new LTE Plans should you choose. Our Migration Specialists will walk you through options.

Will My Bill Go Up?

Viya has taken time in care to develop new plans for our customers on the new LTE Network that are equivalent or better than the plan you are already on so besides the improvements in quality the change will feel seamless. Your monthly bill will remain the same if not slightly lower. You will also have the option of upgrading to one of our brand new LTE Plans should you choose. Our Migration Specialists will walk you through options.

What Devices are Available to Me?

If you are a migrating Choice customers, Viya has already taken the time to identify your current device and find a brand new quality, device with similar features to what you currently own. We will swap the device for you FREE of charge. If you prefer to upgrade to a different or higher cost device in our store you can simply pay the difference in price. Our Migration Specialist can walk you through and discuss the options available to you.

If you are migrating from Innovative, your current device is already compatible with the 4G LTE Network. We will be providing you with a new SIM card which we will install free into your current device. If you are interested in upgrading to a different device, Viyya offers a variety of smartphones at great prices. Our Migration Specialist can discuss options with you.

Will I have to Wait in Line at the Store?

No, Viya has a dedicated area within our Customer Experience Centers to specifically handle your needs. Upon entering the store, please notify the greeter that you are there to migrate and they will usher you directly to the Migration area where you will be handled right away.
